The Scrappy Maple Leaf block had brought out a lot of memories. As a young child, I enjoyed collecting leaves and pressing them for a school project. In our part of the United States, we have a lot of maple trees: silver maple, sugar maple, red maple...so I had many maple leaves pressed in books. Wherever we lived, we always had a maple tree in our yard.
The next two blocks are the Old Glory block and the Welcome block.
Two more posts and I'll have all the blocks stitched together!
