For me, the Cool Spools block was fun to make. I've always had a fascination with sewing themed projects, such as quilts and bags. I feel the fabrics are sometimes a bit silly, but I still find them irresistible. I'm planning on making and/or finishing some sewing themed quilt in the future.
I think the spools like a lot like bow ties!
As you can see, I had used a Y-seam when I added the background.
And I was very proud of how lovely the points came together in the center of the block!
The next two block are the Butter Churn block, the Milking Day block, and the Tumbleweed block.
Just four more block and we'll have all the blocks done!
